However, the government hasn t done anything tangible on it. Irked at this glaring apathy the AASU (All Assam Students Union) has spat fire on the government. The high-level committee headed by Justice (retd) B.K. Sarma submitted its report on Clause -VI of the Assam Accord to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on February 25, 2020 in the presence his Council of Ministers. However, even after a year, neither the Centre nor the State government has done anything tangible on the implementation of the recommendations of the high-level committee.
