Won't Sit Idle, Our Agitations for Assam Accord Clause-IV Will Continue: All Assam Students' Union(AASU)

NO ACTION ON CLAUSE VI of Assam Accord

AASU Protest Against Assam Accord Clause VI Implementation: One year has elapsed after submission of the report of the high-level committee on Clause-VI of the Assam Accord. However, the government hasn't done anything tangible on it. Irked at this glaring apathy the AASU (All Assam Students' Union) has spat fire on the government.
The high-level committee headed by Justice (retd) B.K. Sarma submitted its report on Clause -VI of the Assam Accord to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on February 25, 2020 in the presence his Council of Ministers. However, even after a year, neither the Centre nor the State government has done anything tangible on the implementation of the recommendations of the high-level committee.
