Three to sponsor Gogglebox in major new partnership

| 08 January 2021 UK mobile network Three is to sponsor Channel 4 series Gogglebox and Celebrity Gogglebox in a two-year, multi-million-pound partnership. The brand’s sponsorship will also be visible across all Gogglebox series available on Channel 4, E4 and All 4, as well as some social content which will be featured on Channel 4’s Facebook page throughout the next two years.   It is the largest ever TV sponsorship in Three’s history and follows in the footsteps of the Chelsea FC sponsorship that began in July last year.   The most recent series of Gogglebox was Channel 4’s second highest rating title of 2020 and the biggest Gogglebox series to date, attracting an average consolidated audience of 5.8 million viewers per episode and a 25% share of the viewing audience. The new creative will be revealed when series 17 launches on Channel 4 soon.

Australian director Fiona McGee shoots annual Christmas spot for Three via Boys+Girls, Ireland

December 21 2020, 3:36 pm | BY Ricki Green | No Comments Australian-based director Fiona McGee has recently shot the annual Christmas campaign for Three Mobile entitled ‘Everyone’s a kid at Christmas’ through Boys+Girls Ireland.   Three wanted to celebrate the fact that although this Christmas may be different, some traditions will never change. Christmas trees will be decorated, presents will be wrapped and families will continue to make Christmas memories, be they in person or virtually. Says Aislinn O’Connor, director of marketing, Three Ireland and Three UK: “At Three, we understand the power of connection in sharing special moments with loved ones near and far, especially at Christmas. As we face a different Christmas, we know our customers will rely on our network more than ever in helping them stay connected to those who matter most. Boys + Girls Launches New Mental Health Campaign for Chelsea FC and Three Mobile December 18, 2020 Boys + Girls has created a new mental health campaign for Chelsea FC sponsor Three Mobile that urges fans to support someone else over the Christmas period. As part of its sponsorship deal, Three UK is working with Chelsea FC to help shine a light on loneliness, isolation and mental health issues that impact men and women, old or young, and that are particularly prevalent at this time of year. Three  is also working with its mental health charity partner Time to Change. As part of it work on the campaign,  Boys+Girls created a full landing page for the platform on Three’s website as well as a suite of assets that have been utilised across social and PR. It also supported Three’s channel executions that included retail activation as well as customer and internal communications.
