Frank Lampard & Three Urge Fans to Support Someone Else This Christmas
Three are encouraging fans to Support Someone Else | Three/Chelsea FC
As part of their partnership with Chelsea, Three have launched a new initiative encouraging fans of teams across the globe to set their differences aside and support each other this Christmas.
Three’s longstanding mental health charity partner, Time to Change, recently found that on average, men have three fewer people in their support network since the pandemic hit, with many involved in the research pointing to the lack of social interaction that comes with attending football matches as a major reason for their struggles.
Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard is urging all football fans to support someone else over Christmas - as people are hit by feelings of loneliness and mental health issues during the pandemic.
The former midfielder and Emma Hayes, the boss of the Chelsea women s team, are taking part in an initiative launched by the Three UK mobile network.
In a video message announcing the campaign, Lampard said: We want you, the fans at home and abroad, to support someone else.
