The ad campaign is the latest in a series of early investments by the DCCC as Democrats look to preserve their ultra-narrow House majority in 2022.
Republicans will likely need to flip only about half dozen seats next year. With decennial redistricting likely to favor the GOP and a handful of House Democrats either retiring or running for higher offices, the party is hoping to pad its majority by targeting Republicans in competitive districts.
Key to their strategy is the American Rescue Plan, which provided much-needed relief to an economy struggling with the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic.
Republicans voted unanimously to oppose that legislation, arguing for a more targeted stimulus package. But the bill has thus far proved popular with the American public and Republicans have touted some of its provisions, angering Democrats who say the GOP is trying to take credit for legislation they sought to defeat.

British market research firm Kantar is in final talks to buy U.S. rival Numerator from Vista Equity Partners in a deal worth about $1.5 billion, two sources with knowledge of the discussions told Reuters.
The deal, expected to be announced imminently, will see Kantar taking full control of the U.S. firm which specialises in providing market intelligence and has been backed by buyout fund Vista since 2017, the sources said

In an ad specifically targeting Murkowski, who has become one of Trump’s most outspoken Republican critics, the super PAC begins by saying, “the Trump-led assault on law enforcement and our Capitol cannot be forgotten” as it shows footage of rioters breaking into the building.
The 16-second video continues, “Our senators need to do their jobs by holding Trump accountable for this violent January 6th insurrection.”
The ad then gives viewers the phone number for Murkowski’s Washington, D.C., office, urging her constituents to “tell her she must convict Trump.”
In a statement shared with The Hill, American Bridge President Bradley Beychok said, “To protect our democracy and our rule of law, Donald Trump must be held accountable.”
