Yeah, from arguments over trumps wall to this wall of traffic as you come southbound on 295 in Burlington County, no arguments here. This is not pleasant whatsoever. Youre hitting the wall of traffic here by 130. Its because of a vehicle fire up ahead on 295 southbound taking out the right and center lanes. So, here in mansfield township a very unpleasant ride this afternoon. I would stick with 130 which it looks like a lot of people are doing that or even stay on the southbound side of the new jersey turnpike to through Burlington County instead of southbound 295. Now, also in jersey in South Brunswick theres also another vehicle fire. Its on the northbound side of route one approaching ridge road. Not a good day for new Jersey Governor Chris Christie as his Approval Rating is now at a record low in his home state and his endorsement of donald trump could be a big reason behind this. Take a look at the number. Monmouth university out with a new poll showing 63 percent of people in new jersey disapproving of the job that the governor is doing. Just 27 percent approve. Thats the lowest number during his six years as governor. As we dive deeper into the numbers this is the very first time that his Approval Rating has been lower than the state legislature. Todays poll shows 30 percent of people approve of the state legislature, 49 percent disapproving. Again, diving into the numbers and finding out what is behind this, take a look. Whats christies biggest concern. 79 percent said his own political future, not the state of new jersey, just 13 percent in fact think leading the state of new jersey is his biggest priority. Why endorse trump . Take a look. Meanwhile the arrows soon to be going in the other direction weatherwise but thats not all a bad thing. Not so bad considering how warm it is already outside. Lets head over to meteorologist cecily tynan in for adam today. Hi, cecily. Hi, brian and sharrie. The sunshine is back after a stormy sunday night. We have cleared the air. Were live on sky6 taking a look over the ben franklin bridge and seeing lots of sunshine with some fair weather cumulus clouds developing and temperatures definitely on the warm side. Dewpoints are in the 50s so it doesnt feel that bad but almost acrosstheboard weve got temperatures in the mid 80s. Philadelphia 84. Allentown, reading and lancaster 85. Trenton 83. Millville 85. Wilmington 84. The exception Cape May Point where you get that wind right off the bay, its only 78 degrees. But we are looking at loads of sunshine with a few fair weather clouds just popping up right now. Satellite6 along with action radar showing the next cold front that im tracking is across the great lakes. So, if you look to the south, though, you can see all this cloud cover trying to stream up from the south and thats because of Tropical Storm colin. If you look at this, all the convection, all the thunderstorms are really east of the storm, so thats an indication that its not a very strong tropical system. Its heading closer to the panhandle of florida. Currently it is 245 miles west of tampa, florida. Maximum sustained winds 50 Miles Per Hour. So this is a weak tropical system moving northnortheast at 17 Miles Per Hour and it will continue that trek and what will happen as it crosses charleston by tomorrow night it will get picked up by a cold front and that will push it out to sea, so that means this will not have an effect on our weather but its going to bring a lot of rain to parts of florida, georgia and the carolinas. Were looking at this band of three to 5inches with the potential that some areas see up to 8inches of rain. So, fortunately we do not have to deal with that system. Tonight just a very comfortable night. Partly cloudy with the lowering humidity. Pretty nice. 68 degrees in philadelphia. Allentown 61. Wilmington 67. Cape may 69 degrees. A good night if you dont have allergies, you can open up the windy, let the breeze blow n future tracker showing we start the day dry. 7 oclock in the morning perhaps some clouds across south jersey and delaware and the poconos and then as we head into the afternoon, this is when that cold front gets closer. I really dont think it has a lot much moisture to work with but we could see a scattering of some showers or a thunderstorm or two as it pulls through and behind this system, it cools off big time by wednesday. The four day at 4 00 showing tomorrow 85 degrees. On wednesday, the high only hitting 70 and its going to feel cooler with the winds and then as we head into the afternoon, some instability showers could pop up. Wednesday you may want a sweater. On thursday sunny and breezy, 75. And friday should be gorgeous, plenty of sunshine, 77 degrees and ill let you know if the cool weather sticks around for next weekend coming up in the full accuweather 7day forecast. Yeah.
