Last year an inquest found an 0fsted Inspection had contributed to the suicide of primary headteacher Ruth Perry, leading to widespread calls for change. Headteacher Ruth Perry, leading the government said the overall grades werent fair or accurate, but the change was criticised by the conservatives for removing a vital indicator for parents. So from today, overall Inspection Grades are scrapped, like good or inadequate. School inspection standards remain the same. And from september 2025, there will be a new Report Card for
Set a flag on fire, and patrons and an employee at a restaurant right across the street from the Police Department were harassed. One person pepper sprayed by a demonstrator and no arrests were made. We were eating our food, they started flashing lights in our eyes, screaming at us, there were no police, nothing. And were literally at the police station. We had nonuniformed officers watching from a distance. And had we seen assaultive behavior or Public Safety issues we would have jumped in right away. We were not aware of the assaultive behavior until after the fact. There was no order for officers to stand down. Population is right at 6,300 clients. The number of clients we currently have on electronic monitoring is 51. Youll see its less than 1 of our total client population being monitored on electronic monitoring. The average time on electronic monitoring is approximately 180 days. We also looked at the number of our clients on electronic monitoring who are unhoused and thats right at 11 . Then quite honestly our program is very effective in terms of keeping people out of custody. We have a 20 noncompliance rate overall for those individuals placed on electronic monitoring. If you look at the pie chart below, its our age range, so clearly our largest population on electronic monitoring are the 18 to 25yearolds, followed 26yearolds. And our mean age is 36 years old.
