Eastern Michigan grad facing 13 sex assault charges offered 15-30 year sentence

An Eastern Michigan University graduate and ex-fraternity member accused of sexual assaults by nine women faces up to life in prison if convicted in his case, but he's got a shot at a shorter sentence. 
Dustyn Durbin, 24, of Frenchtown Township, is charged with 13 counts of criminal sexual conduct, including two first-degree counts punishable by up to life in prison. However, during a virtual hearing Monday at the Washtenaw County Trial Court, Assistant Prosecutor Christina Hines placed an offer on the record — that Durbin pleads as charged and, for those two heftiest counts, be sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.
