Durbin s Ann Arbor-based attorney, David Goldstein, during the hearing said they were tracking toward trial, but asked for time for his client to weigh the decision.
Durbin, who scratched his chin and frowned at times during the hearing, is slated to return to court on Aug. 2.
Durbin s case stems from reported assaults said to have occurred during his time at the school and often in his Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity house. Durbin was a student from fall 2014 to April 2019, and the charged incidents are said to have occurred on dates from Nov. 1, 2015, to May 12, 2019.
Durbin stood by his innocence when interviewed by the police last year, police reports show.

Dustyn Durbin, 24, of Frenchtown Township, is charged with 13 counts of criminal sexual conduct, including two first-degree counts punishable by up to life in prison. However, during a virtual hearing Monday at the Washtenaw County Trial Court, Assistant Prosecutor Christina Hines placed an offer on the record that Durbin pleads as charged and, for those two heftiest counts, be sentenced to 15 to 30 years in prison.
