Maddie and Peter made a marriage promise that they would make all major decisions together. Early in their marriage, they decided, together, that he would live his dream as lead pilot for a major corporation. They decided, together, where they would live. They decided, together, which motor home they would purchase when Peter retired. They decided together where they would travel. They decided together what treatment Peter would receive for an aggressive form of leukemia. When Peter was exhausted and in pain, they decided together to end the treatment. They decided together how they would spend their last days as a couple. ....
