According to National Assembly Office Chairman and National Assembly Secretary General Bui Van Cuong, there are 868 people running for election of 500 deputies of the 15th National Assembly. Regarding the structure of candidates, Cuong said there are 393 female candidates, accounting for 45.28%, an increase of 6.31% compared to the previous term. There are 185 candidates who are ethnic, accounting for 21.31%, down 2.14% from the previous term. ....
