MPP Lisa, as you are no doubt aware there is much discussion in Kincardine regarding the purchase of a Cat Scan machine for the Kincardine hospital. The Kincardine doctors committee has recommended to the Hospital Board that a Siemens “Drive“ machine is, in their view, the best machine to purchase. The Board has recommended a Siemens “Edge Plus” machine.
The Board’s position is that the Edge is cheaper, even though they admit the Drive CT is better. The Drive machine is also the one that the Walkerton hospital has; having a similar machine in Kincardine is, to me, logical as they are a part of the same hospital group. Also there are no Edge Plus machines in use in Canada! ....

With preparatory work set to begin soon to add a CT scanner at the Kincardine hospital, South Bruce Grey Health Centre officials are planning to hold a virtual information session Tuesday evening to update the community on the project.

It has been some time since we know that Motorola is working on a flagship-grade smartphone using last year’s Snapdragon 865 chipset. We even got a chance to peek at it last month, courtesy of the leak from Evan Blass. This was later accompanied by a list of the specifications. Motorola itself has been teasing a couple of pictures of the device as well as some names too (this phone could apparently be called the Edge S).
