Motorola Edge S Pioneer Edition has launched in China as a new colour variant of the vanilla Motorola Edge S smartphone. The new variant of the mid-range Motorola phone has gone on sale in the country and comes in a single configuration. Interestingly, the Motorola Edge S Pioneer Edition is priced cheaper than the other colours. The Lenovo-owned company launched the Motorola Edge S in January this year. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 870 SoC and paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

Moto G100 phone will reportedly come with a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with an LCD panel. The screen is said to come with a 90Hz refresh rate and 21:9 aspect ratio, 560 nits of peak brightness and HDR10 certification.
Moto G100 may be the global version of the Motorola Edge S that launched in China last month. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC and come with a quad rear camera setup.

A few weeks ago, Motorola announced the Edge S in China as its entry into the flagship killer territory. It was expected of Motorola to launch this phone globally to take on the likes of Poco and Realme. While the company is yet to reveal its plans, a recent leak suggests the possible name Motorola could use for the global variant – the Moto G100. The leak comes courtesy of TechnikNews, revealing all the official renders of the Moto G100 along with a few specifications. A closer look reveals that it is no different than the Chinese version of the Motorola Edge S.
