ASSAULT
May 1, 2:39 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Third Street in reference to an assault. Officers observed Rusty Swartz on the scene with a bloody stab wound to his hand. Swartz denied an ambulance and claimed his neighbor, Stanley Grillot III, stabbed him. After getting statements from Grillot, Swartz and a witness, officers issued Grillot a citation for assault.
WARRANT
May 1, 7:10 p.m.: Aaron Hickey was arrested on an active warrant near N. Ohio Street. Hickey was arrested and transported to the Darke County Jail on $525 bond.
May 1, 10:04 p.m.: Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Wagner Avenue in reference to a subject with active warrants. Upon arrival, police located Michael Crawford, who had two active warrants in Darke County. Crawford was transported to the Darke Co. Jail where he was incarcerated without bond. ....

OLNEY - Detectives are searching for a suspect accused of fatally shooting a young man following a car crash in Olney last week.
Investigators on Friday morning named 22-year-old Terrance Flemming Jr. as a suspect in the shooting death of 19-year-old Bryant Heard on the 1200 block of Wagner Avenue on Apr. 20.
According to police, an unnamed 19-year-old man was speeding down Wagner Avenue around 1 p.m. when he slammed into Bryant s vehicle that was turning onto Wagner from Camac Street.
Police believe Flemming Jr. was working on a car down the street during the accident. Immediately following the crash, investigators believe Flemming walked over to Bryant s car and shot him several times. ....

PHILADELPHIA - One man has been killed and several other people have been hurt in overnight shooting incidents in Philadelphia.
At 12:04 a.m. on the 2400 block of Nicholas Street, police found a 53-year-old Black male who was shot ten times throughout the body. He was taken by police to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:24 a.m. A scene was held but no arrests were made nor was any weapon recovered. A toy gun was found on the victim.
At 11:50 p.m. on the 1400 block of Wanamaker Sttreet, a 22-year-old Black male was shot once in the right thigh. He was taken by police to Presbyterian Hospital and placed in stable condition. A scene was located at 58th and Master Streets, but no arrest was made and no weapon was recovered. ....
