Representative image GREATER NOIDA: A 32-year-old man who complained against a local BJP functionary for illegally possessing a piece of land belonging to the gram samaj, was allegedly thrashed by some goons led by the main accused in Gadhi Shahdara village of Sector 142 on Thursday. Interestingly, the police reportedly arrested the complainant, Sandeep Bhati. Sandeep’s lawyer said in the afternoon he had called an accountant for the measurement of the disputed land. Sandeep had gone to meet him on the site when some goons led by Naveen Bhati, who identifies himself as BJP’s mandal secretary of Greater Noida, gathered at the spot and started abusing and thrashing him. ....
