To ease that burden, the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs has provided $7 million in CARES Act funding to organizations across the state. Locally, the Pottawattamie Arts, Culture and Entertainment organization received relief in the amount of $21,800. Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs Director Chris Kramer said the funding is important as the state s economy rebounds from the impacts of the pandemic. ....

He finished a new album, âThe Lesser Gabors,â to follow 2014âs âMy Fraudulent Memoirs.â Itâs his first recording of his own songs since he suffered an ocular stroke a few years back.
