ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. The Friends of the Public Library will resume their monthly Saturday book sales that were halted during pandemic.
The sales will be held at the Main Library, located at 501 Copper NW, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Saturday, Aug. 14.
Subsequent sales will be held on the second Saturday of each month.
Volunteers and staff members will be wearing face masks, and the group strongly urges shoppers to do likewise.
The sales will feature books, CDs and DVDs. There is a $2 entry fee, but Friends of the Public Library members can enter free with their membership cards.

New Mexico State Library now offers Career Online High School (COHS) from Gale, a Cengage company, making it the first program in the state that gives qualified residents the chance to earn an accredited high school diploma through their public library.
