Softball sectional tournament draws held | The Clermont Sun

By Garth Shanklin For the first time in roughly two years, coaches from across the state gathered for softball sectional tournament draws on Sunday, May 2. In the Southwest District, the Cincinnati Division I meeting was a hybrid meeting. The in-person aspect was held at Fairfield High School. Milford drew the No 2. seed in the sectional behind only Lakota West. The Lady Eagles (19-3) took a first-round bye and will host either No. 21 Wilmington (5-11) or No. 26 Sycamore (2-12) on Wednesday, May 12. A win would send Milford to the district semifinal, scheduled to be played at Fairfield High School on Monday, May 17.
