Lady Cards lose at home in I-8 soccer action

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Jackson Northwest spoiled Senior Recognition Night for the Coldwater High School girls varsity soccer team, edging the Lady Cardinals 1-0 Friday night.
The Mounties scored the lone goal of the game with 22:01 to play. Northwest outshot Coldwater 9-3, with Taylor Robison making six saves in goal.
The loss drops Coldwater to 1-4 in the Interstate 8 Conference and 4-7 overall.
The Lady Cardinals returns to action at Grand Ledge in non-conference play Saturday afternoon, with the junior varsity game at 3:00 p.m., followed by the varsity at 4:30 p.m.
