PASQUOTANK Co., N.C. - The Pasquotank County Board of Commissioners will hold a series of meetings Monday, May 17, with attendance restricted to the Board of Commissioners and essential staff only.

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. - Andrew Brown Jr. s family viewed more body camera footage of Brown s death on Tuesday.
Brown family attorneys Ben Crump, Bakari Sellers and Harry Daniels said the family viewed the footage at 3 p.m. A judge ordered that Khalil Ferebee, one of Brown s sons, and his immediate family members with one attorney could view five different videos with facial features of deputies blurred to prevent identification pending completion of investigations.

PASQUOTANK Co., N.C. - A judge has ordered that body camera footage of Andrew Brown Jr. s shooting death while the Pasquotank County Sheriff s Office attempted to serve him with an arrest warrant be disclosed to his family.
Court documents state that five videos will be disclosed to Brown s son Khalil Ferebee and his immediate family members, as well as an attorney. One of the videos will be released in its entirety, while the other four will only show portions of the footage. Court documents say that the redacted footage contained no images of Brown. ....

Several reports have surfaced of unknown vehicles or people outside the deputies homes as well as general threats towards the office.

PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C. Pasquotank County Sheriff Tommy Wooten has advised the deputies who were involved in the Andrew Brown Jr. shooting to take precautions or temporarily relocate for their safety.
Wooten named all seven deputies that had a part in the search warrant execution and deadly shooting in Elizabeth City on April 21. Three of them are still on administrative leave after Wooten said they fired their weapons in the shooting. The other four are back at work. ....

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – Demonstrators once again rallied in the wake of Andrew Brown Jr.’s shooting death, but Friday’s protest was much different.
After days of peacefully marching through the streets, protesters gave their feet a break. About 100 people gathered at the Public Safety Building to have a cookout with food and music.
