Nilshagen, Scholz, Oatley Take Trophies at 2021 CDI Verden Sun, 05/09/2021 - 21:17 2021 CDI Verden An international mix of riders from Sweden, Germany and Australia took the three trophies to be won at the 2021 CDI Verden, the first outdoor spring CDI held on the show grounds of the Hanoverian breed society, where also the World Young Horse Championships take place.  Nilshagen Begins Olympic Campaign For the first time this year, Therese Nilshagen rode the Wespe family s 14-year old Oldenburg licensed stallion Dante Weltino (by Danone x Welt Hit II) into the CDI arena and claimed victory in the Grand Prix. Judged by Roudier, Hinsch, Eisenhardt, Wolters, and Rhode, this Grand Prix featured 14 combinations from 9 different countries. Four judges placed Nilshagen first, one had them fifth. Her individual scores ranged from 71.196% to 77.935%.

Date Time Shoalhaven City Council Launches Community Voices Program Shoalhaven City Council is launching a new program this month called Community Voices, which aims to give community members an opportunity to get together and talk about what they love about where they live, and future opportunities in our towns and villages. Over the next twelve months staff from Council’s Community Connections team will visit each town and village in the Shoalhaven to meet with interested community members. The program will begin with community visits to Culburra Beach, Orient Point, Kioloa and Bawley Point on the second and fourth Wednesdays in April.

Narrawallee Beach dispute erupts over dogs

Advertisement A dispute about allowing dogs on a popular south coast beach has turned nasty, with signs defaced with offensive messages and claims by dog owners that they have been “made to feel like criminals in our own backyards”. Public signs indicating an off-leash dog area at Narrawallee Beach were defaced with the words “Dog Shit, Poofters Beach” and “Poofters Dog Shit” amid growing hostility between dog owners and other beach users.
