HeArt Works show
Artworks Gallery, 564 N. Trade St., Winston-Salem, will have an all-member exhibit called HeArt Works 2020 through Dec. 27.
Everyone has dealt with heart-rending issues this year. In this show, viewers will see a number of ways in which the artist members are showing their HeArts and the art created during months of lockdown. Painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking and more will be available to the visitors just in time for the holidays.
The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are noon to 3 p.m. Thursday through Saturday or by appointment by emailing shop@artworks-gallery.org.

Christmas music includes some of the most beloved and joyous songs of all time. Many evoke powerful feelings of hope, kindness and redemption, and bring forth joyous memories of loved ones and Christmas celebrations long past.

Lansing choirs featured in holiday television special

Two choirs from Lansing High School will be featured on an annual television program that will air Christmas morning.
Sounds of the Holiday features performances by high school choirs from the Kansas City area.
This year’s program will include songs performed by Lansing High School’s Legacy Singers and Women’s Ensemble, according Brian White, director of choral activities for the high school.
The program will air three times Friday – 6 a.m. on KSHB-TV Channel 41, 7 a.m. on KMCI-TV Channel 38 and again at 4 p.m. on KSHB-TV Channel 41. People will be able to catch the program again at 7 p.m. Saturday on KMCI-TV Channel 38 and at 1 p.m. Jan. 3 on KSHB-TV Channel 41.
