Flooding concern over Surfleet flats plan | Updated: 15:20, 17 February 2021 Planners have held off making a decision on a bid to convert a pub into flats over flooding concerns. Members of South Holland District Councilâs Planning Committee deferred N Bondâs application to create seven flats at the Riverside Hotel in Surfleet. A total of 371 incidents of flytipping were reported in the district over October, November and December, members of the Performance Monitoring Panel were told. Councillors were also told that the district had spent £3,000 in December 2019 on clearing away flytipping but this had doubled for the same month in 2020. South Holland District Council staff clear up the flytip in Spalding (44048829) Members were also told that there has been a 140% increase of household waste such as furniture and mattresses. The meeting was told that the councilâs bulky waste collection had been reorganised in order to meet demand. Collections are now being held three times a week instead of once. ....

Mrs E Hanrahan applied to South Holland District Council to create a travellers site for her family on land at Oak Tree Meadow, Spalding.
