Lebanon Junction Fire Chief Josh Coleman said there was an unsubstantiated report of a twin engine plane landing at Addington Field with a smoking engine.
Lebanon Junction Fire Chief Josh Coleman said emergency crews received numerous reports of a smoking plane flying low over the Interstate 65 area around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Coleman said reports put the plane somewhere between the 102 and 105 mile markers. The reports also said the plane went into the woods and that there was visible smoke.
A search began to locate a potential crash site, with crews from Lebanon Junction, Southeast Bullitt, Nichols, Shepherdsville, Zoneton, and Fairdale Fire Departments joining Bullitt County Emergency Management. ....

Food News: New Plant-Based Restaurant Emerges at Ghost Kitchen

Clean Vegg is now open via the ghost kitchen at 5832 Fairdale Ln. The restaurant owned and operated by Wes McVickers (a drummer whose credits include work with singer Eric BenÃ©t) features health-focused bowls, jackfruit tacos, and salads. It s open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. MondayâSaturday and delivers within a five-mile radius of its location in the Galleria area. You can also pick up the food from the ghost kitchen. LOUISVILLE, Ky. Rising water is not a new sight for people who have lived in the Ohio Valley for a while. We re taking a look back at historic flooding in our community to put today s flooding in perspective.
Obviously, Louisville has had horrible floods before 1964, but this is as far back as our vault takes us:
On March 12, 1964, the Ohio River crested at 41.2 feet and forced evacuations when the flood wall did not get up in time. The flood left Valley Station under water. ....

For the banh mi baguette, Lam devoted a great deal of time searching for the perfect bread while creating a tasty pate and rich garlic aioli to elevate the banh mi experience. Instead of the traditional carrot and daikon garnish, Lam and Yeung developed a more expensive and tastier adornment of house pickled carrot and papaya. Happy Farms of Texas, a one-woman operation out of Katy, provides the chefs with fresh herbs and produce for the restaurant.
The beverage choices are just as thoughtful with fresh-pressed juices, ube and pandan lattes and Vietnamese iced coffees made with New Orleans coffee of choice, Cafe du Monde. The espresso-based drinks will be made with beans from Double Barrel Coffee Roaster, a small batch operation in Missouri City. ....
