WESTWOOD ONE and CUMULUS MEDIA Chief Insights Officer PIERRE BOUVARD takes aim at what he considers media buyers misperceptions of AM/FM radio in his post at WESTWOOD ONE s corporate blog this week, pulling data from various sources in an attempt to disprove common myths believed by the ad community.

Last year proved transformational for television, and one of the most surprising outcomes is that North America is no longer the largest region globally for daily TV consumption.
According to a Glance (Global Audience & Content Evolution) presentation at MipTV, both Europe and South America have now overtaken North America in this regard.

Annual Marketing Report: The Era of Adaptation. The report delves into how marketers are revamping their strategies after facing and mitigating the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It found that while marketers at organizations of all sizes rank customer acquisition as their top objective in 2021, smaller companies are more focused on customer retention than large companies. To achieve both of those goals, social media, search and video rank as the top channels companies will invest in over the next 12 months, but they need to go beyond only these channels to acquire and retain customers. ....
