TRIBUTES were paid at a recent Holywell Town Council meeting in memory of a recent loss. Members of the council held a silence in honour of Councillor Dolores Phelan, of Rhodfa Wenlo in Greenfield, who sadly passed away recently. An active member of the community, Dolores served the council for over a decade in the Holywell central area since 2012. Dolores also served on the Town Centre Committee and was a governor of Ysgol Maes-y-Felin. Ms Phelan was an passionate member of the Transition Holywell Group and played an important role in delivering the 100 years since World War One celebrations held in the town in 2018.
