At the last budget workshop meeting held on May 13, councilors voiced their support for a half-mill rate increase, with the intention to hold an official vote on the budget May 25. âOur goal, generally, is for a half-mill increase,â Chairman Rob Oris said. âWe know our taxpayers really cannot afford anything more than that.
