Covid cartoon imagery slammed as 'immediately insulting'

He said the imagery was “immediately insulting” and that he was shocked it could have come from a DHB.

Taonui also said he was concerned the swift backlash against the booklet could hinder vaccine rollout efforts, saying he had already been contacted by people telling him their view on the jab was now “get stuffed”.

'Time to go home': Kiwis at the top of their game return to NZ, and plan to stay

Talented Kiwis who returned home amid the Covid-19 pandemic are confident they can thrive here despite some challenges.
As Covid-19 began rolling around the world last year and countries slammed their doors shut to contain the pandemic, many New Zealanders chose to return home.
Three recipients of KEA’s World Class New Zealander Award on Thursday night said Covid-19 was a factor in their return, and in their decision to stay, but the timing was also right to come back.
The award recognises exceptional global achievers who raise New Zealand’s mana globally through their work.
