A scientific study indicates chlorination may be creating previously unknown, highly toxic by-products in tap water
HOUSEHOLDS across the USA and other countriesÂ where tap water is heavily chlorinated may be drinking a potential health-threatening toxic and carcinogenic cocktail of chemicals sparked by chlorine use, according to recent research. A study from one of Americaâs top research universities underscores the lack of research into the unintended health consequences of chlorine interacting with other chemicals finding their way into tap water, saysÂ Bluewater, a global specialist in water purification technologies.

Meteorologists last fall said Montana could be in store for a particularly cold and snowy La Niña winter. By late October, cold temperatures and record snowfall shattered regional records but that wintery weather quickly gave way to much drier and mild conditions.

Gay Indian-American Gets Key Personnel Post in Biden Admininistration

Gautam Raghavan, a gay Indian-American who served as a White House LGBTQ+ liaison in President Barack Obama’s administration, has been appointed deputy director of the Office of Presidential Personnel by President-elect Joe Biden.
That position is “key to identifying, recruiting and vetting the more than 4,000 political appointments across the federal government,” according to a press release from the LGBTQ Victory Institute, which provides training and leadership development to LGBTQ+ people in politics.
Raghavan is a member of Biden’s transition team and has worked closely with Victory Institute’s Presidential Appointments Initiative on its efforts to ensure that qualified out LGBTQ+ people are appointed throughout the new administration, Victory Institute notes. ....

The Zoning Board of Appeals, on a 4-0 vote, has approved a special permit for 449 Rt. 130, site for the proposed In Good Health, medical marijuana dispensary.
In Good Health has pledged to give 3% of its net revenues to the town (via a host agreement), plus support local nonprofits. Most of the conversation centered on traffic and parking during the Zoom meeting tTuesday. Members Christopher R Neeven and James Killion recused themselves from the deliberation and vote.
Alternate members Gerry Nye and Jack Casali were brought up to serve on the hearing. Attorney Kevin Kirrane represented In Good Health.
