Share Governor Simon Lalong has tasked the newly elected senator representing Plateau South, Senator Nora Dadu’ut to live up to expectations and justify the mandate given to her by people of the senatorial district. Senator Dadu’ut was elected in a by-election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in November last year following the demise of Senator Ignatius Longjan. The governor stated this during the thanksgiving mass in honour of the elected senator at the St. Brendan Catholic Church Kwa in Quanpan Local Government Area of Plateau State. Governor Lalong who described the election of Senator Nora as the will of God urged her to do her best to impact the lives of the people of the zone particularly women and youths adding that being the first Senator from the state much is expected of her. ....

The Director-General of the ITF, Joseph Ari, who launched the phone, dubbed, “ITF Mobile” at the 12th National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment held in Abuja recently, said the organisation had been in the process of trade-marking and certifying the phone with the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON). The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo and Ambassador Mariam Katagum, received the made-in-Nigeria smart-phone for onward transmission to President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo. Sir Joseph Ari, Director-General of ITF, showcased the indigenously produced phone at the opening of the Physical/Virtual 12th National Council on Industry, Trade and Investment on Wednesday in Abuja. Ari officially presented five phones to Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, and the state minister, Amb. Mariam Katagum, at the 12th council meeting. The ITF boss said together with its trainees from its Model Skill Training Centre located in Abuja, it was able to produce its first 4D cell phones with all the components obtainable in any mobile unit. ....
