The Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, and the Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly, Nora Dadu’ut who expressed shock over the demise said a patriotic and loyal Nigerian has left the scene. Lalong in a statement by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Makut Macham said “Plateau State and the nation has lost a patriotic and loyal Nigerian who served with courage, dignity, and selflessness. Plateau State has lost an elder statesman whose outstanding achievements in his military career brought a lot of pride and honour for the State. Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State By Mon Jan 11 2021 Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has tasked Senator Nora Dadu’ut on the enhancement of the standard of living of her constituents, especially women and youth. Speaking during a thanksgiving mass for Sen Dadu’ut at St. Brendan Catholic Church in Qua’an-Pan LGA, Lalong said Dadu’ut’s victory at the recently conducted by-election for Plateau South senatorial district was the will of God. The governor said the state will give her every support to ensure she succeeds at the Senate. He called for unity among the constituents and the elected representatives of the state to work together for the interest of the people. ....
Share Governor Simon Lalong has tasked the newly elected senator representing Plateau South, Senator Nora Dadu’ut to live up to expectations and justify the mandate given to her by people of the senatorial district. Senator Dadu’ut was elected in a by-election conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in November last year following the demise of Senator Ignatius Longjan. The governor stated this during the thanksgiving mass in honour of the elected senator at the St. Brendan Catholic Church Kwa in Quanpan Local Government Area of Plateau State. Governor Lalong who described the election of Senator Nora as the will of God urged her to do her best to impact the lives of the people of the zone particularly women and youths adding that being the first Senator from the state much is expected of her. ....
