Around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, theÂ
Star-Tribune became aware of a water line break at the corner of Moses Mill Road and Callands Road in west Chatham, just outside town limits.
Water was gushing out of a hole in the ground near the intersection. The area remains flooded but water is standing still. Tanks are still good, Inframark representative Adam Brooks said. Water hasn t dropped at all, but it hasn t gained either.
Chatham Mayor Will Pace said this water line break is much less severe than the major water main break that occurred over Memorial Day weekend earlier this year.
