Around 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, theÂ
Star-Tribune became aware of a water line break at the corner of Moses Mill Road and Callands Road in west Chatham, just outside town limits.
Water was gushing out of a hole in the ground near the intersection. The area remains flooded but water is standing still.
"Tanks are still good," Inframark representative Adam Brooks said. "Water hasn't dropped at all, but it hasn't gained either."
Chatham Mayor Will Pace said this water line break is much less severe than the major water main break that occurred over Memorial Day weekend earlier this year.
