A bedridden disabled woman has died after being trapped inside her burning home in Brisbane s north. Emergency services were called to Maher Street in Zillmere at about 4.15 on Monday afternoon after smoke was seen billowing from a villa. Seven crews of firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze by 4.30pm, where they found a 59-year-old woman had been killed in the fire. She lived alone in the unit with a disability and had regular visits from aged care workers. Firefighters extinguished a fire on Maher Street, Zillmere, on Monday afternoon and found a 59-year-old woman dead inside. Pictured: emergency services at the scene ....
