PRESTONPANS is eager to celebrate the success of its world champion boxer Josh Taylor. Danielle Murphy, Josh’s fiancée, said she was looking to put plans in place for an open-top bus parade, so her partner could show off his prized championship belts to his fans, but is awaiting confirmation from East Lothian Council. Meanwhile, Prestonpans Community Council meets on June 8 to discuss commemorating Josh’s success, but has said that any celebrations will follow coronavirus restrictions.
