Poole bus station in Poole town centre A MAN has appeared in court after stealing two emergency glass hammers at Poole Bus Station. Wayne David Griffin, 36 and of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to charges of theft and failing to surrender to custody when he appeared in the dock at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 19. The court heard that Griffin stole the hammers, which belonged to Morebus and were valued at £32.30, from the transport hub in Kingland Road on May 9. District Judge Stephen Nicholls fined the defendant £80 and ordered him to pay £32.30 compensation and £85 prosecution costs. Griffin received no separate penalty for the bail offence after he did not attend court on July 16.
The shooting happened at Cake and Custard Factory on Kingsland Road in Hackney, east London, at around 10.53pm last night. Both men, 19, were taken taken to hospital and are recovering.

Due to an emergency closure, the B3068, which runs outside of Poole Hospital towards the Shah of Persia pub, has been closed between the Elizabeth Road and Garland Road until further notice. SGN are currently undertaking the complex repairs, but have stated it is too early to say how long the roadworks will be in place for. Waseem Hanif, spokesperson for gas distribution company SGN said: We re carrying out emergency repairs to our gas main in Longfleet Road, Poole.
