A MAN introduced himself to a 13-year-old girl and then followed her after she didn’t respond. Police are investigating after a girl was approached by a man in Stourcliffe Avenue, Bournemouth, on May 10. A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “Dorset Police received a report of that at around 8.05am a 13-year-old girl was approached by a man in the area of Stourcliffe Avenue in Bournemouth. “It was reported that the man introduced himself and she did not respond. It was reported that the man then followed her for a short distance. “Officers are making enquiries into the incident and have made contact with the girl involved to offer reassurance.”
