NOWSHERA: Another patient died of coronavirus while nine more reported positive for the viral disease in the Nowshera district on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Mir Reza Ozgen told the media that a Covid-19 patient Noor Nabi, 52, who was under treatment at the Qazi Medical Complex, Nowshera, died while battling for life for the last several days. With the new casualty, the number of fatalities from the viral infection reached 101 in the district.
The official said that nine more persons tested positive for the Covid-19 that took the number of patients suffering from the coronavirus to 5,131. He said that 4,181 Covid-19 patients had recovered after medical treatment so far. The district administration also sealed 20 more shops and imposed heavy fine on owners of four other shops for violating standard operating procedures (SOPs) against the virus.

NOWSHERA: The Coid-19 infected 83 more persons amid smart lockdown in various areas of the district on Wednesday.
The district administration continued imposing smart lockdowns to contain the spread of Covid-19 pandemic after coronavirus cases reported from various areas in the district.
The authorities imposed smart lockdown in 32 localities, including Mohallah Hisartang in Nizampur, Mamakhel in Khairabad, Khushal Colony in Nowshera Cantt, Mohallah Eidgah in Akora Khattak, Sadiqabad in Shaidu, Miangan, Taru Jabba, Rasoolgarh, Akramabad, and others, following the emergence of an increased number of Covid-19 cases.
The administration also sealed five more shops and imposed heavy fines on others for not wearing masks and violating standard operating procedures (SOPs).

The authorities announced smart lockdown in 15 areas of the district, including Mohallah Babu Garhi, Mohallah Umar Khan, Pabbi, Miangan, Taru Jabba, Rasoolgarh, Akramabad in Akora Khattak and others, following emergence of an increased number of Covid-19 cases.
The administration also sealed seven more shops and issued warning to 11 others besides imposing fine on people for not wearing masks and violating standard operating procedures (SOPs).
