Vaccination clinics will be held in each school district. 12:45 pm, Apr. 19, 2021 × Area students to receive COVID-19 vaccine if they want it. It will be not be mandatory for them to receive it. (Shutterstock image) Students around the area will have an opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine during clinics held at school. The vaccine is not mandatory, but is being offered to students who are 16 years of age and older. Students who are 16 and 17 can receive the vaccine with parental permission. Those who are 18 years old do not need consent from a parent. The clinics are being offered through a joint effort with Horizon Public Health, Sanford Health Broadway Clinic and Alexandria Clinic, a service of Alomere Health. ....
