Piluso winning in school board election despite dropping out May 18 2021 A slew of new faces will join school boards in East Multnomah County in early returns. Former Gresham Police Chief and state legislator Carla Piluso was winning her seat for re-election to the Gresham-Barlow School Board in early results Tuesday night, even though she dropped out of the race after her name was already on the ballot. In the Centennial School District, newcomer Erica Fuller was ahead in a race for the seat held for nearly three decades by Rod Boettcher. In the Gresham-Barlow School District four of the five seats up for grabs were contested races.
