American rapper Snoop Dogg has added to his 19 Crimes wine range with the launch of a California rosÃ©, which heâs hoping will be the sip of the summer.
The bubble gum pink, easy drinking Snoop Cali RosÃ© is made from a blend of 75% Zinfandel, 20% Grenache and 5% Pinot Noir.
According to Snoop, the pink drop offers aromas of ripe strawberry and rose petals, with fresh raspberries, strawberries and red cherries on the palate. Hoping to appeal to a moderate drinking crowd, the wineâs ABV is just 10.7%.
âWe did it big with 19 Crimes Cali Red, so you know we had to do it again â and this time, I was thinking pink. I canât wait for everyone to sip on my Snoop Cali RosÃ© and bring those fresh feels from spring into summer and beyond. ....

Police in France have recovered over 1,000 bottles of stolen wine and arrested 10 people in connection with two separate burglaries at estates in Burgundy last year.
In a joint operation, 60 police officers from three different regions carried out searches in Lyon and Toulouse at the end of last month, it has been reported.
In raids carried out on the night of 24 February, authorities arrested 10 people and recovered some 1,160 bottles of wine, thought to have been taken during two separate thefts in July and October 2020.
The bottles, which included nine magnums, were part of the haul taken from Domaine Philippe Chavy in Puligny-Montrachet in July last year. ....

Vodka bottle in the face causes 'avulsion' wound for Decatur man, police report

DECATUR â Police said a Decatur man needed sutures to close a 3-inch-long, quarter-inch-wide facial wound after an assailant smashed a 12 ounce bottle of vodka against the right side of his head.
The resulting wound was described in a Decatur police sworn affidavit as an âavulsion of his skin on the side of his face.â An avulsion means a deep slicing away of the bodyâs tissue.
Police Officer Alex Amaya said the 47-year-old victim was attacked in the front yard of his home on the afternoon of March 4. Amaya, writing in the affidavit, said the victim had been with the assailant, aged 45, and an argument had broken out when the victim refused to buy the other man more alcohol and told the man to leave his property. ....

A Virginia-based brewery is on a mission to have their eye-wateringly spicy IPA recognised by the Guinness Book of World Records as the hottest beer in the world.
While there are currently Guinness World Records for numerous beer-related accolades, including the world’s oldest beer and the biggest glass of beer ever poured, there is not currently a category for the world’s hottest beer. A Carolina Reaper beer might just be the first tipple to win the accolade.
