Bar and restaurant assistance funding must be claimed by Jan. 31


COLUMBUS Days before the Jan. 31 deadline, thousands of on-premises liquor permit holders still have not claimed their money from the state s Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund.
Of the 4,270 eligible permit holders, about 28% have not yet visited www.businesshelp.ohio.gov to claim their funding, according to a news release sent Thursday by Sherry Maxfield, Director, Ohio Department of Commerce.

Many of those remaining establishments are in North Central Ohio: 48 are in Richland County, 20 are in Ashland County and 14 are in Crawford County.
