Staff report WARREN Businesses in the Mahoning Valley hurt by the viral outbreak have until Sunday to apply for financial aid through the state’s Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund. The $38.7 million in the fund is to help liquor permit holders impacted by the viral outbreak. The types of permit holders the fund applies to include bars, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, wineries, casinos, private clubs and several others. According to the state, Trumbull County has 275 eligible permits, and 64 had not applied as of Jan. 19. In Mahoning County, there are 361 eligible permits; 106 have not applied through that date. Eligible permit holders must have an active on premise permit. Licensees must present their FEIN or SSN, liquor permit number and address for each location at time of application.
