Joel Eneke found dead while in seclusion at Mill View Hospital, Hove

He said: “It was not until December that I had any concerns about Joel.
“We were aware of the risks of him being vulnerable and I emailed Ms Goodwin with my concerns.
“But Joel was also looking forward to Christmas. He did not seem to be on the verge of a psychotic relapse.”
Ms Goodwin, who saw Joel regularly, said there had been no evidence of anyone staying with him in his flat and no evidence of “cuckooing” - where drug dealers use the home of vulnerable people for criminal activity.
At 2.40am on December 21, another resident in the block of flats called police and reported their friend had “gone crazy”. Officers attended and found the window in the front door of the building smashed with blood on, and a lot of blood in Joel’s flat. ....

Kent 'puppy farm' raid: Police seize 30 dogs, a stun gun and drugs

Thirty dogs, including 10 puppies without a mother, have been discovered as part of an investigation into puppy farming.
A stun gun and drugs were also recovered by police who swooped on three properties in Hadlow and Yalding, in Kent.
Documents and phones relating to the sale of puppies were also seized in the raids.
Three people were arrested by Kent Police as part of the inquiry.
Officers have been investigating reports of dogs being advertised for sale online and the possible thefts of adult dogs . ....

Police found 30 dogs, a stun gun and drugs during an investigation into reports of an illegal puppy farm.
Officers carried out a search warrant on Wednesday morning at two addresses in Hadlow, and one in Yalding after concerns were raised by members of the public about the illegal breeding and sales of dogs online.

The joint operation was carried out by Kent Police, Trading Standards, the RSPCA and Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council and is also linked to thefts of adult dogs. ....

Man charged with drug offences and ordered not to fly drones near prisons

A MAN was ordered to stay away from places of detention and to desist from flying drones near places of detention when he appeared at a special sitting of Portlaoise District Court on today Friday 8 January.
Dean Swaine, from Millview, Ballintore, Co. Kildare, was brought before the court charged and with possessing drugs for the purpose of sale or supply at Saint John s Square, Portlaoise, Co. Laois on Wednesday 6 January.
Prosecuting Garda Detective Eoin Gardiner said that the defendant was arrested and charged and made no reply after caution.
He said there were no garda objections to conditional bail being granted to the defendant. ....

A man has been ordered to stay away from places of detention and not to fly drones near places of detention by a judge in Co Laois.
Dean Swaine, with an address at Millview, Ballintore, Co Kildare, was brought before Portlaoise District Court charged with possessing drugs and with possessing drugs for sale or supply at Saint John s Square in Portlaoise on Wednesday.
