Swindon puppies go barking mad over socialisation sessions

The events were set up by Emma Goodwin, who founded Positive Paws last November. She is working on her degree in canine behaviour and spoke about how important puppy socialisation is for the dogs. Emma said: “It’s extremely important. If puppies aren’t socialised then they could grow up to have behavioural problems. “I’ve seen quite a few instances where puppies haven’t been socialised with people or dogs, and they’ve become quite wary of them, or quite aggressive. “The end goal is to get them socialised and a better chance of life. “Get them relaxed, going on walks, not being scared when they see another dog coming. Generally it will lead to the puppy having a more relaxed and happy life.”
