Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority has prepared a blueprint to connect the sewer lines of all the 124 villages under its jurisdiction to sewag.

GREATER NOIDA: More than 3,350 allottees of flats or residential plots who are yet to get the lease deeds registered with the Greater Noida Authority, will get a last chance to claim their property.
Officials said that the plots would be taken back if the defaulters fail to comply with the ultimatum within a fortnight. The cash-strapped Authority has to recover Rs 347.50 crore from these defaulters.
Greater Noida’s additional CEO Deep Chandra said, “Fifteen days will be given to the 3,373 defaulters to make the final payment, else allotment will be cancelled and the amount paid to the Authority so far will be forfeited. The properties which get cancelled will be taken back in our control and will be floated in the forthcoming schemes.”
The authority, which will earn Rs 200 crore as revenue from the allotment, had received eight applications for six industrial plots that were available.
GREATER NOIDA: Putting an additional burden on the existing allottees as well as prospective buyers, the Greater Noida Authority has increased the land rates of all properties barring commercial by a little over 4%.
And on the lines of the Noida Authority, GNIDA has, for the first time, added a 10% premium on land situated within a kilometre on both the sides of the 7.2km-long metro corridor.
Now on, all the schemes launched by Greater Noida Authority will be rolled out at the revised property rates. As per the new rates notified by the Authority on Thursday, land premium for all the categories except commercial has been increased by 4.15%. For those looking to buy land close to the metro corridor, officials said the value of property will go up by 14.15% as GNIDA will apply a 10% premium on such plots.
