arkansas. the national weather service is categorizing tornado that hit here on friday as ef three tornado i want to show you what type of damage in ef-3 can do. this dumpster tossed aside like it was a child s toy, the national weather service says the wings associated with the tornado were whipping at 165 miles per hour. at the maximum width, this tornado was about 1.3 miles wide had a path of destruction of 29.9 miles, nearly 30 miles this tornado was raging, you can see the destruction that it dealt roofs ripped off, homes destroyed, people s lives shattered. it s good to take a long time for folks in this neighborhood in northwest little rock to start the cleanup of the recovery process is now ongoing, yesterday city workers were in the streets clearing things up 115 workers out here, the national guard is also on the ground helping out 100 national guardsmen and shelters have also been established for people to go to. obviously there s a lot of folks that are go ....
