Nut Tree, Rio Vista airports eligible for CARES Act Covid-19 grants
VACAVILLE The Nut Tree Airport and the Rio Vista Municipal Airport are eligible for a piece of nearly $2 billion in federal grant funding that’s available to help airports whose operations are affected by the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Grants are through the U.S. Department of Transportation under the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Coronavirus Response Grant Program.
Funding availability was announced Friday in a press release from the FFA.
