fire conditions more dangerous. a red flag warning remains in effect for the bay area. mark tamayo is here . the dry winds will wrap up later tonight later tomorrow morning. the process has started. the satellite issuing this. the northerly winds are kicking up . we talk about this, it means high fire danger. the winds tonight could be the strongest all season long. let s check in on current winds . you heard about the fire near napa airport. there is a sustained wind of 20 miles per hour. santa rosa is up to 26 miles per hour. relative humidity around five percent through nine percent. it is very dry. especially in portions of north bay. we have an onshore wind at 15 miles per hour. the strongest wind tonight and tomorrow morning will be in the hills. some observations are scattered around six miles per hour. relative humidity at eight percent to 16 percent. mount diablo has a gust of 31 miles per hour. relative humidity at 26 percent. here is a live look at the camer ....
where is your family home at? from the fire just around zero but maybe one mile from here. what did you see? i was sleeping my brother woke me up at 10:34 so i walked outside and we had a fire about 12 years ago but it was brighter and hotter than this. i just went and packed up my stuff. outside, it looks like you were at a concert with a red ambience light just huge orange lighting. so you were hiking toward the fire? first of all why and what did you see? i like to take photos and videos so i thought it would be nice to get this perspective. so i hiked up about two miles and the fire was raging along the northridge so i took photos and videos but the wind was blowing down the ridge and all of a sudden the wind changed. so we heard the wind was blowing really hard. yesterday earlier in the day we were talking about this was probably the windiest day. reporter: how bad was the fire across the ridge line? it was all the way from the base of the houses two ....
