Competing with Arkansas this week are Arizona, Arizona State, Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, UCLA, Utah, Washington State, and Vanderbilt. Field events begin at noon with running events following at 2 p.m., when the live stream on SEC Network + starts.
“The schedule has worked out really well in preparation for the SEC Championships,” said women’s head coach Lance Harter. “We’ve got our initial qualifying covered, as far as who is going to be at the SEC meet. But we would like to circle back in some of the events that we thought maybe would be a primary and then someone runs a great secondary event. ....

Morris vaults to world lead, Crouser creates history with shot series

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sandi Morris opened her indoor campaign with a world-leading vault of 15 feet, 9.25 inches (4.81) during the second American Track League meet held at Randal Tyson Track Center.
Ryan Crouser delivered another victory in the shot put as his best mark among an impressive series equaled the previous world record of 74-4.25 (22.66) he broke last Sunday. Bryce Hoppel recorded the second fastest time ever by an American indoors in the 800m with a 1:44.37 win.
An additional highlight included a national record and world-leading 22.40 in the 200m for Shanae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas as she equaled the Tyson facility record set in 2008 by Bianca Knight during the NCAA Indoor Championships. Shamier Little, who trains in Arkansas, set a career best of 23.40 as runner-up. ....

World-leading 4×400, pair of collegiate leaders highlight Arkansas victory

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Another day of spectacular performances led Arkansas to a dominant victory in the Razorback Invitational this weekend at the Randal Tyson Track Center. A world-leading effort was generated in the 4×400 relay while collegiate-leading marks were established in the 400m and mile.
Arkansas produced its third team win of the season, totaling 133 points to thwart the challenge from Georgia (93) and Oregon (92). USC (70) placed fourth while the rest of the field included Mississippi State (35), Colorado (27), Ole Miss (27), and Iowa State (10).
“The team win is just kind of extra credit,” noted women’s head coach Lance Harter. “We don’t try to do any of the line-ups that we potential can. What’s really exciting is that we had some great breakthroughs individually.” ....
